CreativeClicks and Voluum

CreativeClicks is one of the biggest names in the industry, working with serious partners and delivering their content to 190 countries. They use various ad formats, from video to mobile. The following guide instructs you how to set up tracking of their offers with Voluum.

There are a few things required to track CreativeClicks offers in Voluum. These things are:

• An active Voluum account
• An active CreativeClicks account.

Once you have everything ready, proceed with the guide.

In the first step, you need to create a campaign in CreativeClicks. This will provide you with a URL that you will later submit to Voluum as an offer URL. In order to do so, perform the following steps:

1. In CreativeClicks, go to the Offers view.
2. Use the filtering criteria to narrow down your search.

3. Once you located an offer that you want to promote, click the Create campaign button.

   

   Voluum Note: Some offers require approval before you can create a campaign. They are marked with the Apply to run status.

4. Select the media type from the drop-down menu.

5. Click the Submit button.

   

6. Your campaign has been created. Click the Copy link button to copy the campaign link to the clipboard.

   

7. Click the Copy link button.

   

In the second step, you need to create an affiliate network element from the CreativeClicks template. This will provide you the tracking parameters that you will need to include in the URL that you have copied. Follow the steps below:

1. In Voluum, go to the Affiliate networks tab.

2. Click the Create button and select the Affiliate network option from the drop-down menu.

   

3. Select the CreativeClicks template from the Other affiliate network section.

   

4. Click the Save button.

   

The third step is about creating an offer element. To create it in Voluum, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, go to Offers.

2. Click the Create button and select the Offer option from a drop-down menu.

   

3. In the New offer form, select the CreativeClicks affiliate network element that you have just created from the Affiliate network drop-down menu.
4. Provide a name for the offer in the Offer name text field.
5. Paste the URL that you have copied from CreativeClicks in the Offer URL text field.
6. Copy the tracking parameter and paste it at the end of the offer URL after the & character.
7. Click the Copy button to copy the postback URL to the clipboard.

8. Click the Save button.

   

The last step revolves around submitting the postback URL to CreativeClicks. This step is essential for conversion tracking to work. To submit the postback URL that you have just copied to CreativeClicks, perform the following steps:

1. In CreativeClicks, go to the Campaigns view.

2. Click the campaign that you have just created. to edit it.

   

3. Paste the postback URL that you have copied from Voluum in the Postback URL text field.

4. Click the Save button.

   

You have now successfully configured tracking of CreativeClicks offers with Voluum. You can use the offer element that you have created in your campaign funnels.
