Create a traffic source element. Voluum provides you with the Adcash traffic source template, so you can use it and skip most of the manual setup. In order to use this template, perform the following steps:
- In Voluum, go to Traffic sources.
-
Click the Create button and select the Traffic source option from the drop-down menu.
- Select the Adcash template from the list of available templates.
-

-
You can change or adjust any option in the New traffic source form. Once you have done so, click the Save button.

- Provide a name for the campaign in the Campaign name text field.
- Select the Private Workspace that you want this campaign to be assigned to from the Workspace drop-down menu.
- (Optionally) Select a lander you have previously created from the Landers drop-down menu.

Click the Save button.
- Click the Copy button next to the campaign URL to copy it to the clipboard and paste it to any text editing tool.

III. Create a Goal in Adcash
Steps 3 and 4 are optional and should be followed only if you need to pass conversion information from Voluum to Adcash. Creating a goal generates a traffic source postback URL that you will be able to submit to Voluum, which is described in the fourth step of this guide. If you haven't created a goal yet, perform the following steps:
- In Adcash, go to the Tracking view and select the Goals option.
- Provide a name for your goal, which will be your conversion event, in the Name text field.
- Select an action category.
-
Click the Get tracking code button.
-
Click the Copy to clipboard button.
You have now obtained a tracking URL.

IV. Submit a Traffic Source Postback URL to Voluum
The last thing you need to do is to tell Voluum where it should send information about conversions by submitting the tracking URL. In order to do so, perform the following steps:
- In Voluum, edit the Adcash traffic source.
- Enable the Traffic source postback URL option.
-
Paste the tracking link that you have copied from Adcash in step 3 of this guide in the Traffic source postback URL text field. Your tracking link should look like this:
https://www.imcounting.com/et/event.php?advertiser=138844&cid=INSERT_CLICK_ID&id=b828bc&type=Registration
Replace the phrase
INSERT_CLICK_ID
with Voluum's{externalid}
token. This will allow Voluum to pass the click ID value that has been originally assigned to this visit back to Adcash, which is necessary to report conversions. Your modified tracking URL should look like this:https://www.imcounting.com/et/event.php?advertiser=138844&cid={externalid}&id=b828bc&type=Registration
-
Click the Save button.
You have now configured reporting conversions from Voluum to Adcash.
